After the students went home, we held a welcoming event and introduction for the new definitive principal, along with the handover of the head of Darma Wanita SMPN 2 Singaraja. This event was attended by the committee board, the Darma Wanita SMPN 2 Singaraja board, teachers, staff, and OSIS representatives. The event began with an opportunity for the former acting principal, Mr. Drs. I Gede Ariyasa, M.Pd, to share his impressions during his tenure. After he finished, it was continued with the introduction of the new definitive Principal of SMPN 2 Singaraja to us and the school committee. He introduced himself, gave a brief speech, and asked for everyone’s support during his leadership at SMPN 2 Singaraja. The next opportunity was for the head of the school committee, Mr. Nyoman Wetha, S.Pd, M.Pd, to convey his messages and impressions regarding the performance and leadership of the former principal, and to welcome the new principal. The secretary of the school committee, Dr. I Putu Suka Arsa, ST, MT, also added his impressions and messages, emphasizing the need to increase community involvement with Banyuasri in the future, the crucial role of the school committee’s support in school development, and the importance of transparent school management. The next segment was the handover of the head of Darma Wanita from Ms. Ni Luh Putu Wahyu Sudiarni, S.Pd, M.Pd to Ms. Luh Ririn Indahyani, S.Pd. Also the presentation of gifts and bouquets as a token of appreciation from teachers, staff, and OSIS to the former principal for his work, and a bouquet for the new principal.
